Brantley Don Potter Obituary
Brantley Don Potter, 19, of Shallowater, Texas left his temporary home on March 1, 2022.
Brantley was born September 12, 2002, in Lubbock, Texas to Jason and Amanda Potter. He was a loving child full of smiles and laughter. He loved to be outside running with dogs, wagons, and water sprinklers. As he grew he began to love to read, play chess, and participate in football, basketball, and baseball. His height and long arms really paid off.
Brantley made everyone laugh everywhere we went, turning a regular day into a fun one. He loved hanging with friends, listening to music, and laughing, cracking a joke whenever he could. You'd often get wrapped up in him telling you stories about his day and end up laughing until your stomach hurt. He was never a stranger to anyone and instantly lit up any room that he walked into.
Following his high school graduation, Brantley obtained his CDL and began working at Housley Communications. After several months, he was offered a job at Excel Energy as a lineman in Plainview. He was so proud to receive the offer and was excited for the next chapter of his life.
Brantley lived a joyous life surrounded by family and friends. Loved ones include father Jason Potter; mother Amanda Potter, sister Gracie Potter, and brother Brogan Potter. Grandparents included Don and Linda Essary of Floyd, NM, and Tom and Claryce Gainer of Levelland, Texas.
Brantley was a true joy to know and love.
