He was predeceased by: his parents, Elred Lester and Ruby Lester; his siblings, Jerry, Larry, Joe, Billy Jack and Johnetta; and his granddaughter Trinity Yeck.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughter Amy Rybolt; his stepchildren, Joey Pruitt and Richard Vickers; and his brothers, Roy Lester and Ray Lester. He is also survived by 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great granddaughter.
