It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Diane Burnett of Seymour, Texas, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Gover and Dorothy Gover; and her husband Larry. She is survived by: her sons, Lance (Amy Burnett) and Tommy (LeeAnn Burnett); her sister Debbie (Brad Bryans); her grandchildren, Kolton, Tycee Burnett of Vernon, Allison Burnett of Seymour, Jacie, Dillon Fox of Seymour, Kutter Burnett and Ashton Merkord of Vernon; her great grandchildren, Rawlins Burnett and Hudson Fox; and her niece Bailey Bryans of Katy.
Memorials can be made to Seymour Cemetery Association, Baylor County Museum, First Baptist Church, Meals on Wheels of Seymour, or any charity of your choice.
