She is survived by: her mother Bobbie Higgins Cooper of Seymour; her former husband William Robert Laird; her niece Jamie Cooper Hernandez of Seymour; her nephew Cody Redden; and her stepchildren, Lisa Britten, Michele Belcher and Richard Flippin. She is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.
