She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Shipman and Lou Shipman (Trainham); her husband D. A. Chapman Jr.; her grandson Taylor Hamby Chapman; her siblings, Truman Shipman, Darwin Shipman, Irene English, Louis Shipman and Paul Shipman; and her nephews, Gil Shipman and Jimmy Flegler.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, David Chapman (Amy) of Farmington, Brian Chapman of Florence and Sarah Chapman Buescken of Oberhausen, Germany. She is also survived by Five nieces and nephews; Several great nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Henson Cemetery (3082 Co Rd 140, Seymour, TX 76380).
