He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Morrell and Mittie Morrell; his wife Judy Fuller; his sons, Tobie (Kristi Morrell), Detreck (Amanda Morrell), Rawlin Morrell (Cassie) and Ryan Stark; and his sisters, Pat McKowen of Lubbock and Lois Rodriquez of Brownwood.

Memorials may be made to the Vera Cemetery Association.
