He was predeceased by: his parents, Blondy Young and Margaret MacFarland Young; his siblings, Bob, Claude Young and Judy Young Graef; his son Larry Lowe Young; and his grandson Cody Bill Slaggle.
He is survived by: his wife Rita of Seymour; his children, Lita Slaggle (Billie) of Seymour, Barry Young (Cathy) of Abilene, Texas and Monte Young of Seymour; his grandchildren, Will Young (Monica), Joey Young, Katie Arellano (Victor), Kirsti Young, Ryan Young (Macy), Rachael Hons (Derek), Sarah Sanchez (Shawn), Monica Young and Drew Young (Kayla); and his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Maddie, Cody, Barton Sanchez, Abi, Ben Arellano, Mollie, Meadow Hons, Cayden, Jace Young, Jonah Young, Hannah Young and Julian Young.
