It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bartolo Martinez of Seymour, Texas, born in Caldwell, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephina Garcia Matinez and Victor Martinez; and his siblings, Virginia Ramos, Placadia Martinez, Apolonia Benavides and Martin Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Martinez of Seymour; and his children, Gloria Fernandez of Abilene, Juanita Walters of Sparta, Josefina Downes of Denton, Mary Escamilla of Munday, Anna Matinez of Seymour, Carlos Matinez of Abilene, Pedro Martinez of Wichita Falls, Thomas Martinez of Del Rio and David Martinez of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
