He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Pointer (Adams) of Virginia and William Albert Pointer. He is survived by: his son Will Pointer (Rochelle) of Lubbock, Texas; his sister Pamela Olney (Guy) of Sammamish, Washington; and his grandchildren, Hagen Williams (Kaley) of Seminole, Chloe Williams of Lubbock, Morgan Pointer of Sweetwater and William C. Pointer of Lubbock. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
