He was predeceased by: his father Vicente Velasquez, Sr.; and his children, Arturo and Silvia. He is survived by: his wife Aurora Gonzales of Seminole; his children, Vicente Velasquez III (Irma) of Seminole, Miguel Alvidrez (Yolanda) of Andrews, Thomas Velasquez of Hobbs, Daniel Velasquez of Jal, Marcela Velasquez (Frank) of Midland and Maria Velasquez (Abel) of Hobbs; his mother Maria Espinoza (Ortiz) of Seminole; and his siblings, Adolfo Espinoza (Gloria) of Mexico, Martin Espinoza of Mexico, Valdo Velasquez of Mexico, Marcos Espinoza (Guadalupe) of Mexico, Manuel Espinoza (Eva) of Odessa, Texas, Mary Vasquez (Hervey) of Lubbock, Sonia Moreno (Jose) of Ft. Worth, Tonia Espinoza (Henry Hildebrandt) of Seminole, Texas and Guadalupe Garcia (Santos) of Seminole, Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
