She is survived by: her parents, Jesus Cavazos and Rafaela Cavazos; her spouse Melquiades Cortez; and her children, Anita, Maria, Jesse, Juan, Pedro, Vidal Cavazos of Andrews, TX., Alejandro Cortez of Lamesa, TX., Daniel Cortez of Lamesa, TX., Cipriana Cortez of Winters, TX., Rafaela Ortiz of Seminole, TX., Frank Cortez of Phoenix, AZ, Roberto Cortez of Big Springs and Paul Cortez of Coleman, TX.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and an abundant amount of great-grandchildren.
