She was predeceased by: her parents, Estanislada Almaguer (Villarreal) and Marcelino Almaguer; her husband Jose Felix Venegas; and her children, Johnny Venegas and Lydia Torres.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Felix Venegas, Jr. (Criselda) of Seminole, Texas, Benny Almager Venegas of Seminole, Texas and Minnie Amaton (Tommy) of Seminole, Texas; and her siblings, Larry Rodriguez (Mary) of Artesia, Alfredo Cruz (Delfa) of Artesia and San Juana Almaguer (Adam) of Seminole, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was more than just the foundation of the family, she was the light and inspiration; their number one teacher.
