He is survived by: his wife Olga Mata of Seminole; his children, Ramon Mata, Jr. of Seminole and Giovanna Davila (Gilbert) of Kermit, Texas; his siblings, Jesus Mata (Elda) of Houston, Texas, Manuela Chavez (Ruben) of Mexico and Petra Mata of Odessa, Texas; and his grandchildren, Noah Mata, Tristan Mata, Ethan Davila and Gianna Davila.
