She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Estel (Green) and James Lewis Pyle; and her husband Maurice Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Kim Hughes of Albuquerque, Mickey Maurice Hughes of Marble Falls, Texas, Teresa Brock of Seminole, Texas and Connie Curtis (Ferlin) of Seminole, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
