She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oneita Wilcox and Raymond Wilcox; her husband Alton Parker "Salty" Burkett Jr.; her sister Betty Jean Kidd; her great grandchild Evelyn Pagan; her brother James Ross Wilcox Sr.; her daughters, Thelesa Mellon (Tim Mellon) of Boise and Loree Meador (Ty Meador) of Midland, Texas.; her grandchildren, Travis Smith, Chrissy Barbee, Michelle Beck, Jennifer Land, Erik Jurek and Barry Jurek; and her great grandchildren, Zachary Smith, Parker Smith, Benjamin Groves, Nicholas Groves, Alexandra Pagan, Izzabell Pagan, Colton Beck, Courtney Beck, Grace Land, Michael Land, Heath Land, Charlie Land and Ethan Land. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
