He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustina Ramirez (Olvera) and Crescencio Ramirez; his former wife Maria Ramirez; his wife Eva Ramirez (Soto); his son Samuel Ramirez; his siblings, Pascual Ramirez, Francisco Ramirez, Rey Ramirez, Petra Mejia and Severa Hernandez; and his grandson Samuel Ramirez.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest Ramirez (Claudia) of Temple, Texas, Juan Ramirez, Jr. of Temple, Texas, David Ramirez (Laura) of Temple, Texas, Rita Ramirez of Seminole and Ellie Ramirez of El Dorado, Texas; and his siblings, Jose Ramirez of Ft. Stockton, Jesse Ramirez (Elida) of Hillsboro, Texas, Tomasa Ramos (Lorenzo) of Seminole and Mary Rodriguez (Armando) of Seguin, Texas. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
