He is survived by: his wife Katharina Goertzen of Seminole; his children, David Goertzen (Helena) of Seminole, Frank Goertzen of Seminole, Johnny Goertzen (Mary) of Seminole, Jake Goertzen (Sara) of Lubbock, Texas, Susan Guenther (Henry) of Seminole, Helen Reimer (Abe) of Seminole and Maria Sawatzky (Peter) of Nebraska; and his siblings, David Goertzen (Justina) of Mexico, Frank Goertzen of Mexico, Peter Goertzen (Helena) of Seminole, John Goertzen (Aganetha) of Seminole, Susan Heide of Seminole, Anna Wiebe of Mexico, Elizabeth Peters (Peter) of Mexico and Eva Thiessen (Heinrich) of Mexico. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
