She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Ortega (Ojeda) and Rafael Ortega; and her husband Joe Mendoza, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Joe Mendoza, Jr. (Tracy) of Seminole, Pat Ramirez (Hector) of Hobbs, Lorena Villalva (Danny) of Mesquite, Mary Lou (Lulu), Salazar (Ernie) of Seminole and Rocio Mendoza of El Paso; and her siblings, Carmelo Ortega of Mexico, Margarito Ortega of El Paso and Alicia Herrera of Juarez. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14, great-grandchildren.
