He is survived by: his former wife Helena Guenther; his wife Helen Giesbrecht of Seminole; his children, Henry Giesbrecht (Nancy) of Seminole, Jake Giesbrecht (Irma) of Seminole, David Giesbriecht (Annie) of Seminole and Tina Friesen (Abe) of Seminole; and his siblings, Abram Giesbrecht (Margaret) of Canada, Jacob Giesbrecht (Lisa) of Canada, Peter Giesbrecht (Susan) of Canada, David Giesbrecht (Tina) of Canada, Isaak Giesbrecht (Nettie) of Canada, Bernhard Giesbrecht (Annie) of Seminole, Maria Dyck (Jacob) of Canada, Gertruda Welk (Peter) of Canada, Margaretha Baltz (Peter) of Canada and Aganetha Wall (Isaak) of Mexico. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
