He is survived by: his wife Maria Loewen of Seminole, Texas; his children, Johan Loewen (Katharina) of Canada, Cornelius Loewen (Lisa) of Seagraves, Texas, Katharina Loewen (Johan) of Seminole, Anna Loewen (Henry) of Mexico, Maria Loewen (Bernhard) of Canada and Agatha Loewen (Gerado) of Seminole, Texas; and his sisters, Agatha Loewen of Kansas, Maria Giesbrecht (Abe) of Canada and Gertruda Fehr (John) of Canada. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
