He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Summerfield Shaw and Angeline Peterson Shaw; his daughter Cindy (Summer); and his siblings, Marlin Shaw, Gene Shaw, Larry Shaw, Verl Shaw (Summer Lee Shaw), Delano Shaw, Ronald Shaw, Rhodell Kirby and Nelda Tobias.
He is survived by: his wife Starlie; his siblings, Joann Peugh and Roosevelt Shaw (Patsy); his children, Helaine Hamline (Philip), Bryan Shaw (Dana), Don Bryant (Donna), Chris Bryant (Twyla) and Stephen Bryant (Sherrie); and his grandchildren, Dallas Hopper, Starr Reis, Aaron Shaw, Morgan Shaw, David Hamline, Daniel Hamline, Andrew Hamline, Noah Hamline, Garrett Shaw, Leah Shaw, Amanda Bryant, KC Bryant, Megan Goetz and Shayla Bryant. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Seminole Baptist Church of Seminole, Texas.
