She was predeceased by: her parents, Helena Reimer (Thiessen) and Abram Reimer; her husband Peter Groening; and her daughter Lena Groening. She is survived by: her sons, David Groening of Seminole, Texas, Abram Groening (Elizabeth) of Seminole, Texas, Peter Groening (Anna) of Seminole, Texas, Jacob Groening of Seminole, Texas and Johnny Groening of Seminole, Texas; and her siblings, Abram Reimer of Canada, Cornelius Reimer of Mexico, Jacob Reimer (Sara) of Mexico, Peter Reimer (Helena) of Canada, Heinrich (Maria) of Mexico, Maria Krahn (Johan) of Mexico and Anna Dyck (Jacob) of Canada. She is also survived by four granddaughters, and seven grandsons.
