He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Janiece (Roberts) and Ray E. Long; his brother Ray Long; his sister-in-law Pam Long; and his niece Joy Long.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Long of Seminole, Texas; his children, Ricky Wayne Long (Sarah) of Lubbock, Kevin Ray Long of Seminole, Texas and Tiffany Long of Seminole, Texas; and his siblings, Ted Long (Carolyn) of Dumas, Jim Long (Carlene) of Dimmitt, Texas, Barbara McAlpine (Rick) of Amarillo and Pauline White (Roy) of Moore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
