He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Dailey, (Stowers) and William Crawford Dailey, Sr.; and his wife Betty Jo Dailey. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Dailey, Keith Dailey (Maggie), Donna Sumners (David), Cindy Krueger (Greg), Kim Dailey, Kevin Dailey (Judy), Craig Dailey (Kristin) and Deanna Dailey (Scott Arnhamn); his sisters, Minnie Jean Brown and Pearlie Turner; and his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Sherrill (Vicki), Donnie Sherrill and Mike Sherrill. He is also survived by grandchildren and (19) great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Austin Firefighters Relief & Outreach Fund at afrof.org.
