She was predeceased by: her father Paul Mendez; and her grandparents, Manuel, Consuelo Paez, Jose and Adelaida Mendez.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Ellen Mendez; her sister Rebecca Aguilar (David); her children, Raquel Valadez (Frank), Jacob Aguilar and Andriana Carrizales (Zachary); her grandchildren, Alannah Torres, Matthew Aguilar, Illiana Aguilar, Alexander Valadez, Aiden Valadez, Abigail Valadez, Alexandria Hernandez, Aubrey and Jayce Aguilar; her niece Jessica (Emmarie); and her nephew Michael (David Paul Aguilar).
