He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Menchaca and Francisca Menchaca; his brothers, Guadalupe Menchaca and Jose Menchaca; and his daughter-in-law Jessica Menchaca.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Menchaca; his children, Irene Gil (Darius), Steven Menchaca, Santos Menchaca, Jr. (Michelle), Sonia Menchaca (Johnathan) and Jennifer Menchaca (Gary); his grandchildren, Trey Menchaca, Nathaniel Menchaca (Delilah), Arianna Menchaca, Kaitlin Menchaca, Maddie Gil, Miriam Urrutia, Caleb Sanchez, Max Flores Jr., Alessandra Sanchez, Gabriel Brady and Leeandra Mueller (Nathan); and his siblings, Concha Gonzales, Carmel Mancilla, Adelaido Menchaca, Juan Menchaca Sr. and Jesus Menchaca. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and dear friends.
