She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Charles Pyle; her parents, Lillie Gohkle and Henry Gohkle; her siblings, Martha Gohkle Clark, Mary Schwanz, Janice Gohkle, Ruth Krueger and Harvey James Gohkle; and her friend James Cake.

She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Lee Pyle of Beeville; her grandchildren, McKenzie Lynn Pyle of McQueeny and Jonathan Kenneth DeLeon, Jr. of San Marcos; her niece Debra (G. R. Hurley) of Gonzales; and her friends, MaryAnn Rangel, Randolph Lehmann and Beth Hill.
