He was predeceased by: his parents, Donat J. Thivierge and Adela-Claudia Thivierge (Poisson); his stepmother Blanche; his siblings-in-law, Bill Franklin and Mary Ann Munro Thivierge; and also Blanche Thivierge (Morency).
He is survived by: his wife Janice LaNelle Love; his children, Richard D Thivierge and Deborah L Schmidt; his siblings, Theresa Franklin and Roger Thivierge; and his grandchildren, Dawn Thivierge, Dustin Thivierge, Derrick Thivierge and Nolan Schmidt. He is also survived by his family, including his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
