He is survived by: his wife Irene Casarez; his sisters, Tomasa Benavides (Richard) and Janie Paez (Alfred Cerda); his children, Cindy Casarez, Christy Alejos (Chris), Cathy Squires (Brian) and Cruz Casarez (Adrianna); his stepchildren, Rachel (Debbie), Bobby and Eddie (Shyla); his grandchildren, Jordan Maldanado (Elvira), Caitlin Maldanado, Robert Maldanado (Caitlyn), Alex Maldanado, Kiana Benson, Clairissa Alejos (Tyler Orzech), Ty Davila, Jonas Squires, Eden Casarez, Vincent Casarez, Julius Squires, Matthew Casarez, Ezra Casarez, Bryan Perez, RJ Perez, Alyssa Mitchell and Breanna Perez; his great grandchildren, Manolo Maldanado, Viviana Maldanado, Emilia Hernandez, VeraLynn Maldanado, Noah Hernandez, Adelaide Maldanado, John Perez, Sammy Perez and Ava Mitchell; and his friends, Slick Rick, Spanky and Big.
