He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Louis and Alva Mattfeld Willmann; and his brothers, Paul Emil Willmann, David Willmann and Elmer Willmann.

He is survived by: his nephew John Paul Willmann; his children, Laura Willmann Mason (Robert William) and Paul Donald Willmann (Leighann Sullivan Willmann); his grandchildren, Liam David Willmann and Logan Christopher Willmann; and also Joan Marie Willmann.
