He was predeceased by: his significant other Deborah Jones; his son Chris Jones; his parents, Gil Lovell and Dorothy Lovell; and his siblings, Larry Jones and Teresa Spencer.
He is survived by: his nephew Bradly Lovell; his niece Kasey Jones Cody; his siblings-in-law, Julie Hunter, Kathy Caraway, Gerald Spear and Kenneth Spear; and his nieces and nephews, James Hunter, Robert Hunter, Richard Gavigan, Matthew Gavigan, Chris Gavigan, Victoria Kleen and Deborah Hunter. He is also survived by numerous great nephews, nieces, friends and other loving family members.
