He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Leal and Elvira Leal; his former wife Esperanza M. Leal; and his daughter-in-law Maria Casas. He is survived by: his sisters, Angelita Rodriguez, Mary Medellin (Jose), Josefina Robledo (Adolfo) and Maria Verdeja; and his children, Steve Leal, Patrick Leal (Maryann), Cindy Leija (Leo) and Linda Cardona (Gilbert). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
