Peggy Jean Woods Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 92, Peggy Jean Woods of Seguin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oneida Ruth (Gage) and Clarence "Red" Roy; her husband First Sergeant; and her sister Clara "Jonell" Burnham (Jack). She is survived by: her children, Roy Woods (Diana), Shay Timothy Woods and Vickie Gescheidle (Randy); her grandchildren, Austin Gescheidle (Rustine), Hanna Gescheidle (Tony Johnson), Abbie Gescheidle (Brian Calcote) and Shayle Woods; her great grandchildren, Liam Calcote, Satele Gescheidle and Thomas Johnson; and her siblings, Nana Sue Laird (Ernest) and Billy George "Buddy" Roy (Margy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tres Hewell Mortuary (165 Tor Dr, Seguin, TX 78155). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
