She was predeceased by: her husband Butch Schmidt; and her siblings, Monroe, Wilfred, Leroy, Garfield Kiel, Leola Tiedt, Margaret Fritsch and Helen Sutherland.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Schmidt (Trea) and Becky Geary; her grandchildren, Chris Schmidt, Cheryl Hicks (Mike), Chance and Megan Geary; her great grandchildren, Hunter Schmidt, Matthew and Ryan Hicks; her sister Gloria "Jackie" Simpson; and her close friend Carolyn Zipp.
