He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Belle (Sandlin) and Gilbert Herschel Widener. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Widener; his children, Jennifer Meservey (Robert) and Jason Widener (Zac Eisen); his grandson Mason Meservey; his sister-in-law Peggy Bowser (Kenneth); and his half-sisters, Pamela Wilson (Steve) and Cindi Norris (Gary). He is also survived by other loving cousins, family members, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel (165 Tor Dr, Seguin, TX 78155).
