He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Turney and Anna Turney (Babler); his wife Janie Aguinaga of Mary's University; and his siblings, Lorraine Keys, Eugene Stern, Jerome Stern and Darryll Turney.

He is survived by: his daughter Veronica Turney of Texas; his brother Dumaine "Red" Turney (Judy) of Antigo; and his grandsons, Kenneth, Isaac, Christopher and Justin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
