We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 90, La Nelle Downs of Seguin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin "Daddy Louse" Hoermann and Reatha "Todda" Hoermann; her husband James Olen Downs; her sister Mary Baker; and her children, Codi Lee Downs and Douglas Clayton Downs.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Olen Downs (Conee); her brother King Hoermann (Karen); her grandchildren, Tom (Betsy), Marc (Andrea), Calesse (Scott), Clarie (Brandon), Cindy (Jimmy), Audra (Hondo), Kelli and Jared (Jodie); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Sofia, Atticus, Ryan, Cole, Kendall, Kylie, Caleb, Tyler, Lane, Tenley, Luke, Shay and Cade; and also Debbie Lowe.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1314 E Cedar St, Seguin, TX 78155).
