He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisca Sepeda and Juan Rangel, Sr.; and his siblings, Cresencio, Frankie Rangel, Janie Avalos and Susie Arevalo.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Rangel Martinez (Victor) and Jeremy Rangel (Victoria); his grandchildren, Breann White Villarreal (Joseph), Bryce Rangel (Marissa) and Mallory Rangel; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Martinez, Adelynn and Azaelia Rangel; and his sister Irma Rangel (Julie). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
