He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Mae Barr and Joseph G. Cole Sr.; his wife Amy Cole; and his children, Mary Cole Akers and John Philip Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Cole (Teri) and Ann Cole Tarrillion (Dennis). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, his family, friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (3303 Urban Crest Dr, San Antonio, TX 78209).
