He is survived by: his wife Carolina Polanco; his children, Caroline Hernandez (Bob), Irene Chavez (Mark) and Damian Polanco, Sr. (Angel); his grandchildren, Melissa Hernandez (Kris), Michael Hernandez (Danica), Freddie Rodriguez (Nicole Worley), Mario Rodriguez (Melissa), Carlos Rodriguez (Marina), Christina Polanco and Richard Rene Polanco; and his great grandchildren, Della, Aspen, Gavin, Aaron, Julianna, Penelope and Ariel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.
