Though Irene has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her mother Cruzita Colunga. She is survived by: her husband Ruben Saldana; and her children, Mario Saldana (Ruben Saldana) and Monica Saldana Navarro. She is also survived by her 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces, and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 8:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Mortuary & Cremations (1116 N Austin St, Seguin, TX 78155). A procession was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (409 W Krezdorn St, Seguin, TX 78155).
