With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Szalwinski of Seguin, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Lee and Gladys Campbell; her former husband Luke R. Weber; her husband William Archie Szalwinski; her siblings, Lewis Ray Campbell, Patsy Sandusky, Nell McCafferty and Jimmie Maresh; and her son Larry Wilson Dickey.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Dickey, Lauri Callier and Kelly (Diana); her grandchildren, Dawn Dickey Williams, Michelle Dickey, Shelby Dickey, Robert Gardner (Heather), Kyle Callier, Emilie, Luke and Trace Weber; her great grandchildren, Tre'Williams, Hadley and Wren Gardner; and her great great grandchild Robert Williams, IV.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tres Hewell Mortuary (165 Tor Dr, Seguin, TX 78155). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Guadalupe Regional Hospice, 1215 East Court Street, Seguin, Texas, 78155 or a charity of one's choice.
