With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Werner Henze of Seguin, Texas, who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora Henze (Werner) and Oscar Henze; his parents-in-law, Annie and Alvin Hoffmann; and his brother-in-law Bob "Bobby" Hoffmann (Linda).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hoffmann Henze; his son Michael Henze (Jill); his grandchildren, John Henze (Nicole) and Grace Henze; his brother Robert Henze (Joan); his brothers-in-law, Earl Hoffmann and Larry Hoffmann (Sheila Hahn Hoffmann); and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Henze, Stacy Henze Schriewer (Kyle), Matthew Hoffmann (Daci) and Kelly Hoffmann Garcia (Eric). He is also survived by several great-nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and many friends.
