He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucille Gertrude (Cool) and Francis Patrick Carney, Sr.; his wife Juliana Carney of South Africa; and his daughters, Mary Elizabeth Engelhardt-Pena (Ralph) and Mary Louise Leatherwood (Bobby). He was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
