She was predeceased by: her parents, Secundina Paez and Fernando Paez; her brother Roy Paez; and her husband Alex Mata. She is survived by: her siblings, Margarita Castellanos, Victoria Higle, Fernando Paez Jr., Gloria Garner and Phillip Paez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to her parish, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church at 409 W. Krezdorn Seguin, TX 78155.
