He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Henk and Elenora Katy Meister; his son Eddie Henk; his granddaughter Misti McNutt; and his siblings, Allen Henk (Biddy), Roger Henk (Adeline), James Henk (Yvonne), John Henk (Laverne), Leo Henk and Lucille Hehs (Mervin).

He is survived by: his wife Dorrene Henk; his children, Kathy Madden (Don), Penny Woodard and David Henk; his sister Betty Jandt (Albert); and his sister-in-law Annie Henk. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
