Edward Aviles Obituary

Edward Aviles, age 58, of Seguin, Texas, passed away surrounded by his family on July 7, 2024. He was born on May 4, 1966, in New Braunfels to Elpidio and Lydia Aviles.

His family will remember him as a loving father, grandfather, and a hardworking man. His grandkids were his pride and joy. They loved his hugs and kisses. Edward was a die-hard Redskins and Spurs fan.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Ruben and Randy, and his sister Maria.

Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Lori Aviles; children, Edward Joshua Aviles (Ashley), Kayla Perez, Alexandria Valdez (Noe), Jason Aviles (Leslie), Logan Aviles (Vanessa), Mariah Aviles (Miguel); numerous grandchildren; other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 5pm to 7:30 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 pm. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 9:30 am on Thursday, July 11, 2024 for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Logan Aviles, Miguel Fierro, Tristan Castilleja, Ruben Aviles, Andrew Lopez, and Jason Aviles.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sweet Dreams Senior Pet Sanctuary, P.O. Box 1917, Seguin, Texas 78155.
