She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Soefje (Grimm) and Dono Soefje; her husband Alvin Hewell; her daughter Patricia Ann Hewell; her son-in-law Earnest Vorpahl; her parents-in-law, Ruby Esther (Hensley) and Thomas Coke Hewell, Sr.; her siblings-in-law, Thomas, Frances Hewell, John Bird and Wildajean Hewell; her nieces, Marian Sue Baenziger, Martha Jo Haas (Gary) and Peggy Hewell; and her great-nephew Kenny Eshelman.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Esther Hewell (Mick Mikulenka), Cathy Vorpahl and Al Hewell (Kathy); her sister Carol Dodgen (Tom); her grandchildren, Jeffery Jubela (Mary Just Buchholz), Kyle Jubela (Lisa), Kristopher Vorpahl, Kimberley Vorpahl, Dr. Valerie Hewell (Jared Lundgren) and Brien Hewell (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, Michael Vorpahl and Hunter Jubela (Macey).
