He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Schwerdtfeger (Barrett) and Eugene Herman Schwerdtfeger; and his brother John Schwerdtfeger (Dorothy). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Schwerdtfeger; his children, Darla Whitman (Kris), Gregory Schwerdtfeger (Anne), Lori Riebe, Eric Schwerdtfeger (Dallas) and Kevin Schwerdtfeger (Crystal); his grandchildren, Loriann (Ryan), Samantha, Ryan (Rebecca), Skylar (Alexandrea), Victoria, Sydney, Amanda, Logan, Nolan, Katherine and Alexander; his great grandchild Mireya; and his brother James Schwerdtfeger (Johnnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and many friends.
