He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Christine Dorman and Warren King; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Patterson-King; his children, Shane King (Courtney) and Amber Harris (Jesse); his stepchildren, Kelly Hamaker (Tiffany) and Jenifer Hamaker; and his brothers, Sidney King, Donald King and David King. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grand children and great grand children.

A viewing will be held at Goetz Funeral Home, 713 N. Austin St., Seguin, TX from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024 and the Service with Military Honors will be held Monday, May 6, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans at the link below.
